" After 15 days, after learning a few things about scamming and click-baiting, I am sure now about this, the numbers from which we receive such calls and the initial locations traced might not be indicative of their true identity. They are jokers in changing their numbers, I understand these ( Swear alert) ******* jokers, their mechanisms and all kinds of A-Z about them."

In both the cases, they threw their hooks toward me, as if I were a big fish, waited around 10 minutes for the fish to call me to be trapped and then as I didn't get trapped, they most probably deactivated their numbers immediately as a precaution. Smartness is that they could again approach you with a different number, different code. Even if tried to track them, it is very tough to get the exact location of their base. The tracking mechanisms we exercised could have only gotten to the generalised spot, even if the tracked locations were authentic."

" Untapped 3: The biggest weapon of exploitation
" Hmmm, let us start with a real example. Ask any contestant who has won a legit lottery or maybe KBC. The question is- Did you get the whole of the prize money allocated to you. The person while answering this question would have a stomach burn."
" Let us get into this legally. Under section 194B of the Income Tax Act, 1961:
If the Prize money exceeds Rs 10,000, then the winner will receive the prize money after the deduction of TDS @31.2% u/s 194B.
In the case of winnings from horse races, TDS will be applicable if the amount exceeds Rs 10,000.
Please note that it does not matter whether the income of the winner is taxable or not. The prize distributor is liable to deduct tax at the time of payment.
