" March 10, 2022, the nation was waiting for the climax of a movie which had all the masala elements ranging from faces, big fishes and what not that in this movie even a bulldozer was part of the principal cast. Title of the movie can be the mid-term referendum or semi-finals of 2024 or to be precise like 2 states it can be named as 5 states etc."

" But as this movie which cannot be titled easily had a great number like bulldozer baba which is weird but the perfect hero buildup song to be heard and ultimately the bulldozer of the baba proved to be the winner of the climax, which was otherwise the most predictable and generic climax template which is present 25000 odd movies around the globe."

The Climax

" Now on a serious note, the five state elections just like any other set of elections that took place in the recent past, the media-hyped it like semifinals for 2024, but everyone without thinking twice could have predicted the results of the five state elections as unlike before, nowadays elections are completely established on the narrative sweep and to win any election u need to show those fake or under realistic promises to win the hearts of the voters. If u lack a narrative then u were going to fail."

"Let us look at Uttar Pradesh, BJP has decimated very much of the polls which took place in seven phases. Everything happened as per the exit poll prediction, but congress despite heavy campaigning by their top brass, could manage just 2 seats in such a huge state with 403 seats. Wow! U despite being a legacy player and once in the same state had won 388 seats in U.P., and now u are left with just 2.5% of the vote share. Very much reflects what is your leadership stability, ground-level work, media campaigning, use of social media to build your narrative! narrative...! Also, it needs to be understood that voters are not the same that if you show your face 5-6 months before an election season, it is unlikely that XYZ is going to create a significant impact. BJP wins the election but they are preparing themselves for the upcoming set of elections, to register in the voter's mind. Mind the fact as well that a lot of legacy players have lost elections across the states, examples are trending in the social media."

" Punjab, it was the insult of the decade for the hand symbol. Huh! what to say, everything which was happening for five years is visible. First, Captain v/s cricketer continues, then fracture point occurs nine months ago, then comes a gentleman all of a sudden is asked to take up this broken ship. And on March 10, what I witness is just is that the gentleman, cricketer and captain all lose the polls. Voters aren't foolish to re-elect a sinking ship or a non-existent ship. So, the voters of Punjab went for a new ship with a proven model of governance on their baggage in the state of Delhi. So, AAP wins this poll. People needed a serious change if your party leadership is unstable and all the power struggle is visible to the public

(Every other party has such problems, but such things shouldn't come out even by a whisker, the same thing happened in Tamil Nadu with ADMK in 2021.), without proper strata then congress was to face a rout in Punjab as they were under-prepared. What kinda model of governance could have congress shown, Rajasthan or Chhattisgarh model. Huh! Needless to describe what is happening in those states. So, AAP was to win it"

" Uttarakhand, despite instability within the ruling party, three chief ministers within a year. Still, the hand symbol could build a narrative. Star aspirants have lost in this state."

" All these state results just shows the trend of 2024. Broom did the grooming so they could farm into Punjab. A lot of expectations is on AAP, but let us wait and watch. Now, as if there were no issues to speak on- Covid-19 mismanagement, unemployment, communal hatred etc, but the fact is when there is a lack of effective alternative is where an average voter even unhappy with the ruler will press that same button even if he/she doesn't want to do so. I didn't want to speak harder politics, but this is my rant of the past 7-8 years."
